"When at last I took the time to look into the heart of a flower, it opened up a whole new world; a world where every country walk would be an adventure, where every garden would become an enchanted one."
Princess Grace of Monaco (1929-1981)
While Working in a flower shop at the age of 14, preparing bundles of flowers for daily orders and seeing their individual life cycles, I noticed how incredible the structural design was of each type of flower. The unique quality of each flower was not unlike the individuality of people. I am still in awe over this wonderful order of botany.
My country walk brought me from the farming plains of the Mid-west to the lush temperate greenness of New England. With a degree in Ornamental Horticulture and designing in the floral industry for over 30 years, I've had the opportunity to teach classes, compete with my piers and attend many seminars and classes.
